Policies and Procedures
"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world". Nelson Mandela
Your child will have the opportunity to experience a range of activities that are carefully planned to take account of their individual interests and needs. Children are cared for in a loving home environment and are given every opportunity to develop new skills, practice what they already know and become independent and confident individuals.
Please feel free to contact me to discuss your needs or to arrange a visit.
My policies and procedures include; Admissions, Accident and Emergency, Behaviour Management, Complaints, Confidentiality, Drop-off and Collection, Food and Drink, Health and Safety, Hygiene, Illness and Infectious Diseases, Late Payment of Fees, Lost or Missing Child, No Smoking, Pets, Retention Policy, Risk Assessments, Safeguarding, SEND (Special Educational Need & Disabilities), Transporting Children.
This is not an exhaustive list and a full copy of my policies and procedures are given to all parents when contracts are signed, along with a range of parental consent forms.
My current fees are:
£4.50 per hour (minimum of 5 hours per day) or £40.00 per day (8:00-17.30)
Before school care - £5.00 per session (8.00-drop-off)
After school care - £11.00 per session (from pick-up-17.30)
Unsociable hours (before 8am or after 5.30pm) £7.00 per part hour
Child holidays/days off/late drop-off/early collection - Full fee
Parent/child illness - Full fee
Childminder holidays and illness - No fee
Occasional extra charges for days out may be incurred, but these are always discussed in advance
In most cases, fees are calculated pro rata (taking my closures into account) so the same amount is payable 52 weeks per year.
A range of flexible options are available for eligible 2, 3 and 4 year olds to access the Governments Funded Early Years Education up to 30 hours.
Due to current school pick-ups/drop-offs, the feasibility of other schools in the Glebe and surrounding area will be dependent on times.
Contracts are drawn up prior to your child's start date and are signed by all responsible parties. Contracted hours are payable in advance, either weekly or monthly depending on individual circumstances. 4 weeks notice is required should you need to cancel or alter the contract.
Contracts are reviewed annually, or when circumstances change (ie if your child starts school or nursery).
